When travelling to the theory test centre in Lincoln, do allow more time for your journey as something unexpected could happen during your journey. We advise you to arrive at least 15 minutes before your appointment to have enough time for your test.

Here is some travel advice:

Walking: If you are walking, you will need head towards to the town centre. You need to aim for Oxford Street. If you are near the A1434, you are relatively close to the test centre.

By Car: If you are travelling by car, the A1434 is the major road that connects Lincoln to other places. Aim to go to Oxford Street and then aim for the theory test centre from there. You may park your vehicle at nearby car parks such as Lincoln Central Car Park or the Pay and Display Car Park to the west.

By Bus: If you are travelling by bus, you can head off to the nearby bus station which is the Central Bus Station. You can walk from there to the theory test centre. It is not far from the test centre.

By Train: If you are travelling by train, the Lincoln Central Station is located nearby the theory test centre. You can walk from there to the theory test centre for at least 1 minute.

Make sure you bring your provisional licence with you to your theory test appointment. Otherwise, you will NOT be able to sit for your theory exam.

1. Have your driving licence information with you
2. An email address to receive a booking confirmation
3. Credit or debit card to pay for your theory test.
