Getting to the Theory Test Centre in the Isles of Scilly can be easily accessed by going to Hugh Town which is the main town in the archipelago.

Here is some travel advice when you go to your theory test appointment in the Isles of Scilly.

Walking: If you are walking to the Theory Test Centre you may need to use a boat during a journey as most of the islands like St Agnes and Tresco are across the water. Once you get to the harbour in St. Mary’s you need to walk towards a theory test centre in Hugh town.

By Car: If you were driving by car, you will need to make sure you can find a suitable place to park your car and attend your theory test appointment.

By Bus: If you commute by bus, Isles of Scilly Travel run a bus transfer between Penzance station and Land’s End Airport.

By Train: If you travel by train, you can take a return train travel to Penzance station.

Make sure you bring your provisional licence with you to your theory test appointment. Otherwise, you will NOT be able to sit for your theory exam.

1. Have your driving licence information with you
2. An email address to receive a booking confirmation
